Plot Summary:A church destroyed. A congregation silenced. A relationship shattered. Yet even in life's darkest valleys, a small flame can light the way toward healing and hope. After a deadly fire rips through St. James Church, Hadleigh University leaders use the tragedy to push the congregation off campus, forcing the church to defend its rights and bringing together estranged brothers for a reunion that opens old wounds and forces them to address the issues that pulled them apart.

作为美国立国之本的基督教，竟然已经被逼到难以存身的地步。不仅是如第一集中那样，因中学老师上课中提到了基督而被告上法庭；而且在此集中，早于大学已存在一两百年的教堂，也被仇视宗教的校方赶走并拆掉。但结局却是以皆大欢喜的爱来化解了矛盾，说白了就是一种无奈的退让。其实，基督教中除了爱与宽容，还有一种面对恶要不妥协的精神。

个人觉得有点失望，片头曲没了，片尾曲也没了；从展现上来说失了前两部的传统感觉有点怪。中国人出现不到10秒，得癌症又好了的没有露面。感觉有点失望。但是，对Christian来说，第三部意义比前两部更值得人反思。God is good all the time, and all the time God is good. 这句话依然贯穿这整部片。 开头的火星是这部片的“中心”。
如果最终的结局是双方甚至多方都是好的，那究竟争一个对错还有意义吗？
