Plot Summary:The Second World War has just ended and two old friends Rose and Antonia unexpectedly meet in London's Regent Street. Rose is a frustrated housewife married to civil servant with as many secrets as he has mistresses, while Antonia is sick of her rich husband and wants to marry her lover.
