what could i say about it? i am not a philosopher that will talk about what it will be like that were the world mine, nor a maniac.
one of my frinds strongly recommended it to me, and asked more than three times in one and a half days that whether i had seen it. that might be the real reason that i gave up my lunch to pick this "so-called" musical. of course it can not be ranked into the "musicals". whatever, there are something interesting. i love shakspeare, always. especially his commedies. to make the magic dew described in the midsummer night's dream real and get it into a gay boy's hand and make the town gay is imaginative. i saw the true musicals and the plays of the commedy. they gave me somewhat the enjoyment of shakspearian story. from this story, i have to say, i got little like that. while this might be its trait, that is to derive from but not to copy.
when i was told by the friend who remmended this story to me last nigt that he was preparing for his 3rd watching of this film, the astonishment that i got was more than curiosity. i wondered what kind of a good story it would be that attracted a tast man so much. while now, after seeing it, i am puzzled more than astonished that, what on hell attracted hime: the shakspearian lyrics the boys sing in the movie, the blooming image of some an actor, or the feelings that the illusion gave him, or the "true love" coming a little too farfetchedly at the end of the musical in the film? i don't know.
imaginative the director is, while not that creative and brave the playwriting is. although it showed somehow a little too ridiculous to me, and a little messed up, it will be saied to be interesting, as a story, whatever. so, just have fun.
