Plot Summary:The eccentric Bullock household again need a new butler. Daughter Irene encounters bedraggled Godfrey Godfrey at the docks and, fancying him and noticing his obviously good manners, gets him the job. He proves a great success, but keeps his past to himself. When an old flame turns up Irene's sister Cordelia starts making waves.
和36版比，这版太难看了。大卫尼文形象气质比较贴合角色，表演也不比Bill差，重点是阿利森，严重miscast.她就适合演country girl.无论气质颜值还是演技，隆巴德甩她一条街。36版是可爱任性刁蛮千金，这版是逮谁咬谁的小疯子。前半部几乎还原36版，后半部把男主改成非法移民这一点比老版更有说服力，但因为大卫尼文和阿利森毫无化学反应，结局看着非常拧巴，没有丝毫激情。也许“垃圾堆里捡帅哥”的故事就适合Bill和隆巴德这对欢喜冤家。
